Pay Range: $19.00/hr. - $25.00/hr

McKenzie Living, Eugene is a specific needs campus supporting adults with severe and persistent mental illness, challenging behaviors and/or traumatic brain injuries. A successful candidate will be someone able to demonstrate the ability to utilize effective communication skills to create and maintain interpersonal relationships with staff and residents. Ability to work independently, dedicated to supporting each resident regarding their unique goals to meet treatment plan objectives and support their development of independence.

This position requires applicants to have the ability to work as an integral part of a direct care team providing clinical support; provide the development of life skills and therapeutic interventions; facilitate therapeutic groups; work with other agencies; be self-motivated and keep accurate clinical documentation.


Must meet State of Oregon QMHA credentials by one of our following criteria:

  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or Human Development


  • A minimum three (3) years verifiable mental health experience working with Severe and persistent mental illness (SPMI) population in a supervised social service setting


  • An equivalent combination of behavioral science education in addition to satisfactory supplemental mental health experience and training

  • Must be a licensed QMHA, or have the ability to become certified
