• Medical aspects of admissions • Assuring all service plans are up-to-date and complete • Adherence by personnel to medical policy and procedure. • Maintenance and accuracy of all medical records • Assignment and medical training of all Caregiver II and III’s • Investigating all medical S.I.R.’s and taking appropriate actions • Delegations/Assignments of caregivers • Reporting resident care or housekeeping problems to the Assistant Administrator • Day to day medical status of residents • Supervision of all medical support staff • Maintain the schedule for all nursing staff • Daily/Monthly nursing meetings • On-call rotation


• 1-2 years experience as a RN in a long term residential care setting. • Ability to successfully communicate with resident family, RNs, GNP, care givers and medical professionals. • Working knowledge of medical terminology. • Ability to successfully pass a drug screen and criminal history background check. • Proficiency with computer software programs including Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word. • Ability to problem solve. • Excellent organizational skills.


• Regularly sitting at computer work station entering, editing and checking data in computer programs • Regularly answering phones and dealing with resident family members, pharmacies, doctor’s offices, staff and other callers • Occasionally walking around campus, entering and exiting resident homes, walking up and down stairs • Occasionally lifting, pushing and/or pulling objects up to 50lbs.
